We are getting the current status of bike. One more china item, DP copy of tank cap. And way too expensive mirrors from Daemon. Those was best looking mirrors for Panigale, IMO.

Had to get new helmet also, cos we have intercoms and my old doesn't have deep enough speaker mounts.

Then couple of close-ups about mesh what I use.

When I wash it properly next time, I take some quality outdoor pictures.
Bad weather here now.

I honestly forgot how my fairing and front mudguard looks like but if it also have those same holes, I will copy you and use the mesh / honeycomb grill too
Your build thread is so full of CREATIVITY OVERLOAD, that your bike could easily be a 2 months in a row Bike of the Month (y)
Also, proof that Creativity is more important than budget, I mean that "replica" Ducati Performance gas tank cap might look better than the original version 😎
I can't wait for further updates from you.

You'll have a great time. My first time ever out on track was a couple weeks into ownership of my V4, and I had the time of my life. Just ride within your limits, improve as much as possible, and never let an opportunity to go WOT go unused.

Track day done.
Not very good start.
5 kilometers before track, the asphalt was showing wet marks, and off cause track was wet. We wait couple of hours and had 4 short sets.
Trac was dirty and slippery and weather was cold, only 12 °C.
Not entirely happy about handling. I didn't get proper support from tank grips to my knee and bike was little oversteering and nervous.
But what on engine, 6 gear over 200kmh speed and when opening from fast chicane, phenomenal acceleration.
I came from word of 600cc so.....
Overall, it was good first session and getting used to bike. But no time for adjust anything. I think I might drop the forks line or two and see how it affects. Also my front springs are soft side. Had to put almost all preload to get sag's about there.

Hmm, Bitubo cardridges...

Front forks are heavily limited by compression on the base Showa BPF forks. I am a mediocre rider at best (middle of intermediate group on my best day) and I am bottoming out the forks with compression maxed out. Talked with a very experienced suspension expert and he said most stock street forks have the same issue, and if you want to drastically improve performance without breaking the bank on whole new cartridges and whatnot, you can just get the stock ones revalved. Street focused valves do a great job at dealing with every day riding, but simply cannot control flow and just fully open when under any kind of hard braking. Fixing the compression aspect of the valving will allow those BPFs to take you all the way to advanced lap times without needing to change much else.

Wow, I had to rethink then whether I want to put heat shield under my gas tank or not.
By the way, I just bought the same AIS block off plate from Smart-Moto like yours because I like how they look on your picture very much (y).

I think the Smart-Moto above look much better than the "Driven" or "Spider" Block off plate below:

Then my mate with V4S ordered V4evo tail light with integrated turn signals, and I was thinking about legal aspect of my led strips. So I ordered also, but different brand. I found that they come from taiwan, V4evo just brand them.

Two first pics show how koso license plate light (that's what you get with Ducati performance tail tidy) sinks into cover.View attachment 4281View attachment 4282

Hello, that plate is to block the hole after you remove the secondary injection system. The secondary injection system inject fresh air into the exhaust right before the exhaust manifold) so it will clean unburn (extra fuel). This is to create accurate reading in case you are running an aftermarket ECU which receive feedback from the O2 sensor at the exhaust pipe.
The downside is, if you remove this, like @HKMP7 said, you won't have any more "back fire noise" 😁

No you won't.
It's only for emissions and weight saving.
If you are going to use some wideband lambda sensors, then this is must to get proper afr readings.
