Well done on having a go. I would replace the gaskets but unless specified by the factory workshop manual no need to renew nuts. From memory the torque on these is not high at all. Some bolts in critical components “stretch” slightly when fastened to torque spec. A good example is mounting assembly on front brakes of some cars to the front suspension struts. They are a one shot use.
Having done this job on my 1199 installing the full Ti system, get the factory torque specs for the nuts. If possible leave fairings off, short test ride and if all good on recheck then put the fairings back on. Akra normally supply some ceramic paste to apply to bolts so u can undo in future.
Koken Z series tools are great for these jobs as is ratcheting ring spanners. Good luck spannering👍

Good effort, save yourself a fair bit of $ doing it yourself + nice to know what’s going on under there. I’ve had mine on and off a couple of times, new gaskets each time & new nuts on 2nd change.
Dont forget to wipe your fingerprints off the titanium before you turn it on 😉

Yeah cheers bro, I hear WD40 is definitely a good thing to use to wipe down before the first Intial start up.
Best place to get new gaskets and nuts from?

Wd40 does the job nicely.
I’d just get the part numbers and order from the dealer - I’m not sure if the akra comes with new ones in the box(?) but they’re cheap anyway.

Well the final piece to this 2 year project has finally arrived, the Bayliss gets a pair of Matte Satin Carbon winglets from German supplier Ilmberger-Carbon I 💯 sure I am probably the first to sport these in Australia. Was very easy to install, they provide a drilling templet to match easy fairing, yup I drilled the fairings and didn’t regret it. Overall I am stoked on this project in memory of my father that passed away 2 years ago, definitely enjoyed making it my very own version. Enjoy the pics 🤟

Good evening All,

After 4 months of waiting for the box of fireworks the 2023 V4S Panigale Full Akrapovic (NON-Wheel Barrow) System has arrived, the only thing I kindly ask is there an online PDF of the instruction to install to save some time in the jigsaw puzzle... I am pretty cluey when putting on bits, but it's always nice to ensure everything is done correctly. Any help id appreciate it.

Cheers
Frank

Finally with half a night in the garage and this morning to complete some cable management and fit up the radiator fans, oil cooler and fuel tank, I finally got the bike started after 4 months of sitting around waiting for the exhaust to arrive.

Firstly it took a few goes to start, put fresh fuel in but still might have been some old fuel in the fuel system, after 6 goes to start it fired up and idled and allowed for some free revs, sounds nice indeed, my question is since I haven't loaded the fuel map for the Akropovic Exhaust as its on the Ducati Portal and requires to go back to the dealership to get this loaded can I do the following:

1. Physically Ride The Bike to the Dealership (approx 15min ride)
2. Will it do any damage riding to the Dealership?

Tomorrow ill finish the assembly of the V4S so it looks somewhat complete again. Overall this was fairly straightforward the only thing I got confused about was the Ducati Install Manual showed some O2 Sensor block offs in the kit that I got but I didn't use them, however looking at some videos of current V4S Panigale seems like many kept all 4 O2 Sensors connected to the exhaust pipe. Can someone explain why some chose to use the block-off plugs on the O2 Sensors and more important with me installed all stock 4 O2 sensors correct?

Cheers for any input in advance - Frank

Hello @KODAKHODAK
Congratulations on the new exhaust and for posting the link to the latest year Akrapovic exhaust install manual.
First, If you just ride it to the dealership for 15 minutes and keep the engine rev low, I am 100% sure your engine will not blow up. It might have some hesitation due to not having enough fuel, but again it should not harm the engine. Try to keep the rev as low as possible while you ride it to the dealer.
Second, (my educated guess based on the information you provided above), If the install manual show the block-off kit (and the block-off are included in your full exhaust kit) then it can only mean AFTER you flash the ECU with the proper map, those O2 sensors will no longer collect data.
However, for the drive to the dealer (before you flash the ECU), you will need to keep those O2 sensors attached. So it won't throw any OBD2 errors.

cheers for the information, just spoke to a few local lads here in Australia and both there bikes have kept all 4 O2 sensors connected after the flash of the ECU, I’ll keep them in for now and if they do need to be removed I have that option available.
