You guys got me considering it now. See how I feel after I rip my airbox apart and change the coolant lines I’m waiting for in the mail
the coolant line is something I will focus on next winter. good thinking and suggestions for track prep

b. Ohlins FKR 108 cartridge for my Ohlins EC shock from Panigale V4 that will be transplanted to the 998 ;)
c. Ohlins FGR400 as soon as Brad knew the pricing (and he surely have very good pricing for Ohlins) 🥳

Finally, the lines for clutch and brake were need to be extended by 2 inches.

this ergonomic has surprised me a bit in terms the intensity of additional mods involved. The control were obsolete due to fitment for RCS system.

will report back on the feedback.

quick update:

prior to my last track day, I had already ridden the bike in Azusa canyon for quick understanding. At that time, I was already impressed with the turn-in. However, nothing really stands out other than that.

Until over the past weekend, March 19th, I attended Auto Club Speedway in Fontana track day, as I was approaching my first turn going out from the pit, my approaching speed is about 60%, realizing even it was on the tire warmer about 185, cold morning, I still want a good lap in before ripping it up. the 1st turn would be T3, a left-hander with grass on the left hand. I quickly realized the steering input was very reactive, and a little bit way too fast almost putting me into the grass part which would have resulted in me in a crash, I then quickly stand her up to rectify the situation.

although I was smiling in my helmet yet thinking back in the pit if I brought additional underwear to change out after this session.

so, the next approach would be T5~6, it is hard braking and left double apex turn. before when I approach this I would need to brace myself and prep for turning, this time, I felt the bracing was easier, and as I dip my shoulder, body, and knee, I found ample room, and less effort to hang on the tank with my right knee.

and then next is T9, slow right U-turn to prep for a good drive off, before, I would need to stand her to aim better, but, now, I can hang on the side of the bike to aim for entrance. correct and adjust for a much better line with bar leveraging, for better drive-off.

and coming around, as I'm approaching T1, which is really the front straight, most of the literbike will hit 160mph+, however, you are setting for T1 entering left and quickly to flick into T2, carbon wheel really helped with less inertia, but together with this, my aim is so precise and quick reaction, I immediately think, why didn't I do this modification sooner!!!

all in all, my lap times are more consistent and less fatigue. very happy with this mod!!

(exchanging notes with other V4 riders, they claimed, their clip-on moved, I will further investigate why and share if any pitfall from the installation or just ill-positioned. )

That's awesome. The bike spins up so much trying to get on the gas early coming out of turn 9. Such a fun track.
so you know, we rent out the whole session throughout the day, for all of our circle of track junkie / ex-racer friends and no hot heads. I think it's very similar to what you're doing, fee was a tag on a little more per person in our group. well worth it.

Yeah we have had some epic battles there. Its all fun and games until a current pro racer shows up and destroys everyone. lol
I feel like the private track days are safer than the normal ones. A lot less ego amongst friends.
