Fren Tubo carbon lines installed
I love the way these turned out. The routing is same as stock. The kit has everything needed to make a simple install. I used Motul RBF660 to fill the system.

Weights and measures
Stock lines and 9 banjos 731g
Fren Tubo lines and 9 banjos 314g
That's a 417g weight savings!

P.S. I could have saved a couple more grams but I used 5 Ti banjos and 4 alloy banjos. I used the Ti ones on the visible banjos.
Wow
That is great weight saving just on brake lines
Fantastic
I may have to copy that on my 1199s
Thanks hk

Braketech 330mm Iron rotors
Ive used these in the past with great success so I they were at the top of the list for the V4. I went with the Ferodo ST pads for street and track duty.

I used Mettec Ti rotor bolts this time.

I also ordered another Phonic ring/TC ring part # 50410051A (was superceded to part # 504Z0381AA) to make the swap easy

Ti Diet
This is cool and silly at the same time Titanium saftey wire.

I plan to re do the sprocket with the Ti safety wire soon.
Initially, I was confused on how a safety wire become "silly" because safety is PARAMOUNT !!!
However, I re-read again and I realized this is not your "run of the mill" stainless steel safety wire but TITANIUM Safety Wire !!!(y)(y)(y)
Well, again nothing "silly" about that, but I am very tempted to edit your post to replace the world "silly" with "ULTIMATE" 😉🤓😎😇

BDS Axle install

Weights and measures

Stock rear axle 1671g
BDS rear axle 1046g
1.37lb weight savings
Hi HKMP7,
The BDS Titanium Rear Axle are gorgeous. Especially the combination of machined polished finished with very nice BDS and Titanium laser marking.
Out of curiosity, would you be able to measure the thickness of the BDS rear axle tube wall and compare it to the stock steel rear axle tube wall?
Thanks

Its a bit hard to measure but the BDS axle is slight thicker.
The stock axle on the sprocket side measures at about 2.69mm thick and the BDS is 2.89mm.
On the brake disc side its about 1.62mm vs 1.83mm
