I just saw the latest Instagram post from one of our forum member: @Superbike Unlimited, Termignoni Full WSBK system. Now, I don't mind having a Termignoni instead of Akrapovic because the original 916 came with Termignoni...
I just wonder if this can fit with the stock subframe/taillight and will it came with a proper tune?
But according to @Superbike Unlimited this will cost $5000 🤑, not bad for a WSBK exhaust !

Also unlike the Akrapovic and SC-Project with wider spacing between the exhaust canister, this Termignoni spacing looks much closer, just like the original 916 !!!

I just contacted Barni Racing directly last night, hoping they have a new or used Akrapovic Dual Underseat exhaust that they were using last year on Michele Pierro's bike, and if they are willing to sell it...
but Barni just replied saying they don't have any... well, I guess, I just have to wait and hope Ducati will issue an official one someday...

After looking at all underseat exhaust available in the market, I think the SC-Project offering is the closest and most suitable for my bike since it remind me of the old Termignoni carbon silencer for the original 916...
I just wish the label/brand is Termignoni or at at Akrapovic...

SC-Project of course make very high quality project, but I don't know why, I just don't like the logo of SC-Project.
Maybe, I can order a set without a logo on the silencer... I really want to install an exhaust now so I don't have to open all the fairing, radiator, rear set etc. since currently my bike is already stripped apart...
hmmm... but what if Akrapovic came out with a factory offering from Ducati next year or right before the new model of Panigale V4 came out... then I will hate myself... anyway here is a very good video of SC-Project exhaust:

I am pretty sure @DucatiKev had a ZARD system on his new V4 and he loves it a lot.

I also found this video on YouTube today, looks like Bren Tuning had a good solution for someone who decide to purchase exhaust system that did not come with official UPMAP:

I love it.
It’s not super light like some of you obsessed people would like but the tone is super deep and it’s not too loud
The stock headers go 4-2 then the Zard is 2-4-2. Interesting design and lots of pipes but to me it looks pretty nice and sounds great

Kevin, WE MISSED YOU !!! 😁

That do sound very deep and I wasn't even using my headphones to listen to your youtube video, I was just using my monitor speaker and can hear the differences.
It is deeper than my stock Akrapovic. It looks like the long pipes design that you describe above is tune to provide this deeper sound...
which reminds me...
The dual undertail exhaust also should have deeper sound too due to an even longer pipe...
Oh no, this doesn't help my craving for dual undertail exhaust now...🥴

It's been a while Kevin, I forgot your bike is a 2020 model... that new fairing design for 2020 is growing on me !!! (y)

Thank you, BMW!!! I instantly fell in love with the wide body design haha it would look nice with the paint scheme of your 916 anniv. Would my red bike look better with colour matched wings?

here’s a few more, all shot with iPhone 11 Pro and I feel like the mic is decent. The Akra is a bit more high pitched but he is revving the piss out of it. I’m considering trading my 1299 for another v4 for up north and for that I’d consider the Akra headers with those little spark WSBK silencers but I have a feeling it’s higher pitched than the full Akra below

and lastly, the sound of my ZARD startup and Dyno run:
