My little build

Hey everyone just thought I’d post a little about my v4 journey. I bought the bike in 2018 and like my other ducs couldn’t just leave it the way it came from the factory 😂 I started out with rear sets lever guards fender eliminator and the termignoni 4 uscite system. Installing the full system didn’t require taking the radiator off or tank but you have to be careful or to damage the radiator with the studs from the cover. I’ll attach some pics. This is when I first picked her upFD4DD2E0-EA24-4EFF-967F-CB8D4B08FDB7.jpeg

Next up was the exhaust. I’ve everyone takes the whole bike apart I tried to do it without removing the tank and radiator and was successful. However when unbolting the radiator be careful when removing and reinstalling the radiator cover there are two studs for the oil cooler make sure not to let them touch the fins when removing and installing. It just takes a little patience

Here I have the radiator oil cooler still connected from the hoses but unbolted from the frame and the rear pipes removed. The trick was an elbow connected to a long extension on a 1/4 drive ratchet

I love this picture,
It remind me of when I just pick up my bike where I took similar picture, however your picture is much better than mine because:
a. It's taken when there is just a right amount of sunlight on the background to show the sky
b. The light on your bike is on showing the bike is ALIVE like a living breathing machine (y)
c. Showing urban landscape, feels like it is at home in its natural daily environment ;)
d. On the left corner, there is The American Flag like the American Might is watching and protecting it plus a feel that The American Dream is Alive and Well 🇺🇸

Just watching this picture again make me feel like I was there with you picking up your bike, and also feel the excitement, I guess a picture really can speak a thousand words 🤩

You made me rethink the composition of the picture 😂

also with the 4uscite system there is a clearance issue with the rear brake lever and the fairing I had to cut out a small square so the lever would not rub or interfere with the fairing

I thought I had a picture with the square cut out when I get back to the garage I’ll take one so anyone attempting to install it can avoid scratching their head

The Termignoni pipes and weld looks super nice, however, it sucks that they have clearance issue. Was it because the Lightech rear sets design is not compatible with the Termignoni 4USCITE? how about the stock rear set?
Also, those Snap-On Screwdriver looks very nice and ergonomic/comfortable to use (y)

When I came across the problem I did some investigating and it seems that people with aftermarket rear sets had the same problem. I never inquired about the stock rear sets and yes I love my Snapon screw drivers they are comfortable 😂

Next up brake and clutch lines I ordered the fren tubo kit deleting the abs as I don’t like the squishy feel of the lines all the time and upgraded the slave cylinder to an Oberón following hkmp7 set up al though he kept the abs. Brakes feel better now. I’m hoping the clutch line and slave eliminate having to bleed the clutch line constantly. If it persists I’ll try an upgraded master cylinder
