I spent most of my day packing/organizing all the old stock parts into a larger box to make them more compact to storage.

However, I decided to spent time to check the ProTi bolts on the Motocorse Tripod Engine to Frame Bracket:

I purchased this kit below from ProTi consisting of 3 pieces M8 x 20mm that I already installed long time ago, screenshot below:
1614566826574.png

however, I remember the original Ducati bolt was actually longer at 25mm. So, it always worried me in the back of my mind... and today I decided to measure what is the maximum length of bolt I can use,
and turn out I can use up to 33mm of bolt, and since ProTi closest sizing is at 30mm, so I decided to replace the kit from ProTi with individually purchased 3 pieces of ProTi Part# M8L30-OTB01

I wish ProTi had been more careful when measuring the original factory bolts, or perhaps when ProTi measured the bolts, it was from the early version of Panigale V4 with shorter bolt... maybe, but all I know is, I want the safest strongest solution
by getting longer bolt so it will provide more thread engagement...

Another ProTi bolt that I remember is shorter then the factory bolt is their kit for the front disk rotor... and one of this day, I will replace them with longer one too, but I need to wait until I replace my front fork because it might require even longer due to spacer requirement for the disk rotor.

Moral of the story is, always measure your stock factory bolt and compare it with the titanium "kit" replacement, because there might be better alternative available, sometimes could be the length of the bolt or even the diameter of the head of the bolt (I always like larger diameter as long as it can fit to spread the clamping force more evenly).

AT this moment, I REMOVED the ProTi bolt and temporarily put the ugly stock Ducati bolt back until the new replacement arrived, it looks ugly again, but it is "TECHNICALLY CORRECT" :geek:

Motocorse Japan SILENCER Mounting TITANIUM Bolt system (this will require modification and can't wait to find the best solution to mount this 🤓🤓🤓:

OK, I think I found the solution for using the Motocorse TITANIUM Bolt for Silencer setup with minimal modification to the SC-Project silencer mount (enlarging the hole just a little tiny bit) and bought some TITANIUM washers from Ti64.com (Thanks again to @HKMP7 for pointing out this great source of Titanium Washers). I just ordered the Titanium Washers and should received it this week or maybe next week...

I certainly hope this solution will also work if I decided to change to Termignoni Silencer 😅, well I think it will since I don't modified the bracket that goes to the frame... 🧐

Now....
another parts that arrived today are the Motocorse Billet Aluminum side frame plates kit, I had been waiting this parts for many many many months and finally it arrived...
by the way, Motocorse just put this product on their website this weekend: Billet Aluminum side frame plates kit

The unique feature of this part is it allow you to do a SIDE STAND DELETE for the track guys out there by making the piece that hold the side stand assembly a different piece 🏍🏍🏍

Ok here are the pictures:
IMG_0670.JPGIMG_0671.JPG

Now the 2 pieces below is the similar parts but one is for using the side stand (left picture) and the other one is if you want side stand delete (right picture):

Standard vs Motocorse pictures:

side stand delete and side stand bracket comparison:

Test fit:

Now, try to ahem "do some fitting room pose" below:
SHEEEEETTTTT Baby ;)🤩🥳,
I think they look more than OK 😎 🤣

IMG_0680.JPGIMG_0681.JPG

ups, I forgot to test fit the Motocorse swing arm axle plug on that center of the sidestep plate ... well, maybe save it for next time 😇

Amazing, I’m both glad and annoyed they don’t make those plates for the 1299 after seeing the price 😂
Looks fantastic with the new rearsets too. And once that titanium pipe is blue you’ll have an awesome spectrum of colours

I knew the SC-Project WSBK exhaust will fit the stock Ducati License Plate Holder, but what about the Ducati Performance Carbon Fiber License Plate Holder? That I was never sure and I do want to install the Ducati Performance Carbon Fiber License Plate Holder because I had invest in my time, effort and money into it with ProTi bolts, Rizoma Turn Signal. Beside, I have THREE more "ideas" that would "highlight" the Ducati Performance Carbon Fiber License Plate Holder even more, coming soon ;)

So today, I test fit it and I am so glad it fit. The Rizoma Turn Signal is right on it's exhaust path and might "Discolor" due to the exhaust heat, but if it happen, then I will take it as a "battle scar" 🤪

Note: I know some readers/members of our forum would not like the looks of keeping the license plate holder, but I actually like it, because it make the bike looks like it is new from the showroom floor 😇

Here are the pictures of the test fit:

IMG_0693.JPG

Notice there are 3 different carbon fiber below, the SC-Project Silencer Carbon Fiber, the Peter Lieb Subframe Cover Carbon Fiber and the Ducati Performance License Plate Holder Carbon Fiber,
I was worried they would not match when combine in such close proximity, however, now they actually look like "DIVERSITY in HARMONY" 😉

Mr. Postman just delivered a box full of exciting Panigale V4 SUPERLEGGERA parts and that made me ahhhhh sooooooo H A P P Y 🤣 :

First for the people who change their exhaust and want to remove their servo system completely,...
Well, The Panigale V4 SUPERLEGGERA came with a BRACKET that only hold the ABS but eliminate the lower section where it hold the Exhaust Servo and I have it on my hand ready to be installed soon ;):
The right picture show comparison to the stock BRACKET:

IMG_0727.JPGIMG_0728.JPG

For the people that upgrade their REAR Brake Caliper... well I believe this V4 Superleggera caliper bracket (which is the same item as the older non V4 Superleggera bracket) might be the "finishing touch" 😌
There is just 1 catch, it relocated the position of the caliper further below so you might need longer brake line and honestly, I am not 100% sure this will fit or not, so I am risking my wallet here 😅
But I will find out soon and even if it doesn't fit, it will look good in my future display rack 😇
IMG_0703.JPGIMG_0704.JPG

And then... for people who prefer upgrading parts from Ducati own's part instead of aftermarket part (like me), then you can consider the V4 Superleggera Carbon Fiber Instrument Cover...
Please note that I already had a complete set of Carbon Fiber instrument cover from Ilmberger and they are beautifully made, but when I found out that Ducati (factory) also sell this V4 Superleggera Carbon Fiber Instrument Cover to general public,
I can't help myself but buy them... after all they are Ducati original parts (eventhough they are manufactured by outside contractor, probably Ilmberger) but that "Ducati label" brings value for me (personally) and they also came from the V4 Superleggera 😉

Back to the carbon fiber instrument cover, note that the Ducati Superleggera V4 version has slightly more glossy finish (it still matt but have that extra "SHEEN", than the Ilmberger version, almost like the Peter Lieb's carbon finish...
This also means, I will be selling my Ilmberger Carbon Fiber Instrument Cover soon because I don't need 2 sets of Carbon Fiber Instrument Cover 😜

IMG_0713.JPGIMG_0712.JPG

IMG_0714.JPGIMG_0715.JPG

Of course, I will not forget to buy the lower mirror holes cover from V4 Superleggera in Carbon Fiber too 😁
IMG_0729.JPGIMG_0731.JPG

I almost buy the left and right air channel (near the side fairing) and the ignition key cover, but the Superleggera V4 had different design than my bike so they won't fit... so I am unable to replace those with Superleggera V4 version and will keep the Ilmberger left and right carbon air channel and Peter Lieb's carbon ignition key cover... so before you start buying other parts from V4 Superleggera parts catalog, make sure you really pay attention to the drawings (and bolt mounting holes) to make sure it will fit your bike 🧐

Ok, now move to V4 Superleggera Carbon Tank Cover Painted in V4 Superleggera RED. Long time ago, I had this idea of buying a V4 Superleggera PAINTED Red Tank Cover because I suspect they are made from Carbon Fiber material due to the same "VENT SLATS" just like the raw unpainted Ducati Performance Carbon Fiber version. However, a person who purchased a V4 Superleggera told me it will have different shade of RED compare to my bike... plus the fact that at that time the V4 Superleggera just launch and no parts were for sale yet...
So I end up buying Ducati Performance unpainted Carbon Fiber Tank Cover thinking of painting it RED to match my bike...

Fast forward to present, and I noticed the V4 Superleggera Painted Tank Cover is now available for general public and I just bought it, thinking... if V4 Superleggera can have something like 3 different shades of RED paint, why I can't have 2 different shades of RED 🤪
This is America a FREE Country 🥳🥳🥳, so I bought it and picture below, oh, and I actually wasn't sure if they are CARBON FIBER, and boy, I am so happy when I found out that they are REALLY made from CARBON FIBER !!!

IMG_0716.JPGIMG_0717.JPG

The RED is BEAUTIFUL too and below is comparison with my 2 other tank covers, the original 916 version on top, and V4 Superleggera below it and Ducati Performance at the bottom:
IMG_0718.JPGIMG_0721.JPG

These are comparison of the RED color only:
IMG_0719.JPGIMG_0720.JPG

and the last part in this shipment is... The V4 Superleggera CARBON Fiber INTAKE below the HEADLIGHT, I know another after market carbon fiber part manufacturer made the same parts, however, I heard about horrible finish and fitment issue...
well, that should not be a problem with original Ducati OEM part and the finish... ah the finish just beautifully perfect 😍😘🥰:

IMG_0723.JPGIMG_0724.JPG

Test Fit, yap still PERFECT 🤓🤩
IMG_0725.JPG

Now, I still have even MORE V4 SUPERLEGGERA parts coming, but they are currently still on their way here... hopefully they are not missing though because those parts cost even more than all the parts above...
I hope the next batch of V4 SUPERLEGGERA parts will arrive soon as they are also quite spectacular (at least that is what I am hoping they will be) 😜

Please don't say you have a carbon frame/swingarm on the way :ROFLMAO:

I almost wish I had a V4 so I could buy up your unwanted parts after you change your mind about them haha

Hi Andy7,
well... unfortunately I cannot afford a carbon swing arm/ carbon frame from Superleggera at this moment 🤑

however, that did not stop me from researching about it and dreaming about it "just a bit" 😇
in fact, I don't know how many hours I spent (or waste) exploring each page of V4 Superleggera spart parts catalog and pictures about 3 months ago to check which part can fit (and I can afford) 🥴 🤣

I think it’s only about $20k (Aud) for a swingarm!
What are your plans for the tank cover? Keep all 3 and substitute them when you feel like a change?

I am not sure yet , seriously, I am not sure yet, for sure I will keep the 916 and the V4 Superleggera version, but I might either sell the Ducati performance carbon tank cover, or maybe paint it in the 916 red but with some effect so it will still have some carbon surface exposed 🤓

Motocorse just posted the picture of their Rear Ohlins Shock Support Bracket in GOLD color... and I just can't help it 🥴, so I just placed an order to replace my current support bracket (the same Motocorse item) but in SILVER color.
When I bought my current Silver one, Motocorse did not offer them in GOLD color 🤨

Now, the only problem is, this means, I will have to take out at least (maybe all) of the SC-Project WSBK exhaust that I just installed last week, then I for sure have to take out the swing arm again,
you know, things only Ducatisti can understand 😇

Also, I think over time the Gold Anodized Color might DISCOLOR especially in the right side where it is less than an inch away from the rear exhaust manifold... due to extreme heat...
but.... well at least the left side of it is the most visible side and I only warming up my bike once in a week anyway... 🧐

Also, If anyone here is interested in replacing their Rear Ohlins Shock Support Bracket to Motocorse version and do not mind using SILVER color, please kindly consider buying mine 😃
I have not officially listed it yet because it is currently still on my bike and I wasn't planning to take it out until the GOLD one arrived, but if anybody is ready to purchase now, then I will take it off.

Brand new at Bellissimoto the price is $469.95 and I want to sell mine for just $300 including shipping to lower 48 states. It has a very small (less than 5mm diameter) blemishes which I covered with a yellow dot (paint).
Here is the picture of the "yellow dot" on my silver one that I want to sell to show how small the blemishes is:
IMG_0489.JPG

Anyway, below are the pictures of the GOLD version from Motocorse website... I will use a ProTi Titanium Bolt in Titanium Silver Color for maximum contrast 😎

I just finished swapping the Ilmberger Carbon Fiber Instrument Panel Cover (which is now for sale and bargain price, listed on the classified section of this forum) ;), to the Ducati V4 Superleggera Genuine Carbon Fiber Instrument Cover.

I must say that the Ilmberger Carbon Fiber Instrument Panel Cover had better fitment than the Genuine Ducati parts... a bit surprising...
I am not taking about much but the gap to the magnesium front subframe were more consistently space with the Ilmberger...
Well, I guess, this is the "CHARM" of using V4 Superleggera Genuine Carbon Fiber Instrument Cover 😅

Now, the Ducati Corse Label that is the right label for this is different than previous Ducati Corse Label (emblem) that I had bought in the past, this one made of metal and FLAT (not curve) so this is a very nice Ducati Corse Emblem.
I attached it near the middle of the cover because with my 916 version, the lower windscreen will be covered by the FOGGY Eyes sticker so the Ducati Corse emblem will need to be attached in the middle.

Below are the pictures:

Wish I hadn’t just bought a silver shock support.
Hi Craig,

If you had not installed your silver Motocorse shock support, you can always resell it as a "NEW item" so it command higher price and bought mine a lower price 😁
or some store allow return at full price, or if you have not received it, you can always cancel the order too (trying very hard to find a way to sell mine here) 😜

Also, please don't forget I am also selling my Motocorse SILVER frame plug set (including upper engine mounting bolt) 😉
