Hi Tsai,now...second day...
taking the fairing off took almost the whole day, doing cleaning as I take them off.
taking the line off was straight forward, putting the line on was enhanced with more discovery and trail
for example I want the line runs equally length (saw moto GP bikes are done like that, so, lots of adjusting between clamps and slacken the length (need to find).

here is a picture on the mount (goes without saying, few of OEM brackets are removed), notice there is a threaded hole available on the left of the picture, you can choose top of down depends on no the slacks. and I used the triple tree clamp bolts as a holder for the bracket, very snug and I can adjust easily on the bolts

plus, lines are just fun....isn't it?

happy motoring guys!!
Hi Alpina!Hi Tsai,
I have a question, the LOWER Part of the Staubli that goes into the Brembo Calipers... are they using O-Ring as seal? I was very interested in this method of connection however, I always worry, the O-Ring will get squashed while tightening because the stock Brembo Stylema caliper does not have O-Ring grooves. Do you have the picture of that LOWER Part of the Staubli by itself? Thanks
Hi Tsaico,Hi Alpina!
unfortunately I don’t have a stand alone picture of bottom of Staubli QD....but...i noticed the OEM benjo bolt has no crush washer on the caliper...so, I didnt use them when I installed the direct port into caliper.
I think the weight is what really make the differences since more weight means more heat capacity, so the more weight on the rotor, the more energy it can absorbed before it's temperature raised. What is the difference between the OEM discs and the Supersport discs other than weight? And yeah, it seems a lot of bolts are lathered in loctite, they didn't want to let go when I moved them to different wheels. Took the impact longer than it should have to get them out.
Hi Alpina,Hi Tsaico,
there must be error in the Ducati factory then because according to this spare parts catalog for your exact model 2019 Panigale V4S, it should have crush washer on top and bottom part of the banjo and in the case of the right caliper, also in the middle between the banjos.
Please review the picture below:

I believe the direct port of the Staubli that you used are equipped with O-Ring instead of Crush Washer because our caliper thread is M10 picture below, so the O-Ring should work to seal it, however, I just worry the O-ring get squashed and torn when you tighten it since the contact surface of the caliper does not have any O-ring grooves. I could be wrong of course (meaning the O-ring will not be squashed) ... The only way to check is to remove your Staubli bottom port to see if the O-Ring is OK (not torn) which means it is good, but then you might need to replace it with a new O-ring... I never have this experience of using the O-ring for this exact kind of connection so I would love to learn about this.

or did your bottom port like this below? (but this one have the 3/8-24 thread though)... so I don't think it will fit our caliper?

Hi Tsaico,Hi Alpina,
it is o-ring type, confirmed with the seller just now...
I didn't buy from Core moto, I reach out to them, but no response from them.Hi Tsaico,
Did you purchase from coremoto?
Here is the description on Coremoto website for this fitting (copy and paste below):
M10x1.0 Genuine Staubli quick disconect Socket
This sale is for quantity of 1 Genuine Staubli brand quick disconnect Socket.
to be used in M10x1.0 direct thread applications only. Specifically, these are used in our Core Moto Works360 distribution blocks.
This is NOT a knock off copy made in China. We have tested nearly every knock of brand made, and although much cheaper we found a 20% failure rate from the non genuine parts in the short term cycle tests we performed. The word "Staubli" is used to describe these style disconnects no matter who makes them because the Genuine Staubli brand is the benchmark of quality.
When used in a brake line application, a plug and socket pair inline can be disconnected and re connected without the need to bleed the system.
Although it may look counter intuitive to call this side the "socket" since it will be covered by the plug, there is a center post in the plug will insert into the socket side.
The threaded portion is M10x1.0 with an O-ring for sealing to flat surfaces with a small 45 degree chamfer.
We can build brake lines with the correct fittings.
Please pay attention to the sentence I copy and paste in BOLD ITALIC RED font above...
It require a small 45 degree chamfer and from what I remember our Stylema stock caliper does not have this chamfer to accommodate the O-Ring on the port where you threaded this Staubli fitting
I mean if it is not leaking then I guess the O-Ring still work, but I can help to think that the O-Ring must be torned when you tighten it...
Dropped my bikes off there yesterday.I went to my guy, in McKinny TX - Brad Miller in Motion SBK, he made the line for me and overnight to me. he had the measurement for lots of Ducati, so, I need to lean on his knowledge about Ducati.
I don't but.. I have a good relationship with Brad since 2015, a straight forward guy I can appreciate when I'm in the dark about technicality.Dropped my bikes off there yesterday.
You live here in Texas?
right on!!I’m down.
we got to manage our priorities....Be sure to space those brake lines away from the forks or they will rub all the gold off the Ohlins and you'll be left with silver Showa forks lol.
