Never like the two tone black and red seat of the V4S, could have gone and bought a standard V4 seat but opt for a V4R seat instead… also bought a Carbon rear seat thingy, not much storage in this section of the bike. Oh yeah the brushed alloy wrap was short lived after it started to bubble up and really didn’t like seeing the imperfections so I took it off and reverted back to red. Was nice while it lasted maybe I’ll get a brushed alloy tank in the near future

Bummer about the wrap. I didn't think about the heat at all. What brand carbon seat thing did you go with?

funny enough I went with a Chinese knockoff and is real carbon the only thing I did was it arrived Matt finish but when it arrived it didn’t have that satin Ducati finish so I bought a can of clear satin finish and coated it and looks way better

Hey Lads,

getting ready for a trackday on the V4S Panigale in June at Sydney Motorsport Park and curious to know what pressures to use for the NEW Supercorsa V4 tyres - i have in the past used F30 Cold R26 Cold - what's your thoughts?

Cold front = 32 PSI
Cold rear = 26 PSI

Target warm values...adjust cold pressure to hit these numbers:

Warm front = 34 PSI
Warm rear = 28 PSI

@5:50 just powered past that dude on the straight.
She definitely has some great mid and top speed - spewing my body wasnt feeling the day, Energy really struggled but still had a good shakedown test to understand for next time.

Question for Track Riders with Slick Tyre Experience, I have never used slicks but doing a 2 day track day at Phillip Island coming Nov 4-5th, 2024. Question can some link me up to a set of Pirelli Slicks tyres that i should use, or should i stick to the Supercorsa V4's - honestly i had a lot of fun on these. Keen to learn what i should and shouldn't do.

Cheers
Frank

Updated my track gear for upcoming track days, recent suit was still awesome but those lover killios got the best of me. So here is the latest Alpinestars GP Plus V4 Race Suit and a Pair of Supertech R's in Lava RED!

I been a bit quiet on the mod list, but back with a little upgrade, finally got some GB Racing Engine Covers to suit the V4S. Was going to to do the wash machine look on the clutch side but prefer more of a race look for this build.

Hey Fellas, been a little quite lately - currently building a new home so Ducati upgrades on a all time low 😂 however few of us heading to Phillip Island Nov 2nd onwards for a 2 day trackday. Question anyone on here recently been on the new surface and trying to understand what tyre pressures recommended for Supercorsa V4 Tyres on the V4S Panigale. Cheers in Advance.

NOV 4-5th, 2024 - Phillip Island Track Day – 14 Years Later on the Ducati V4S Panigale

Hey everyone!

Just got back from an epic 2-day track day at Phillip Island (Nov 4-5). Revisiting this circuit after 14 years was a blast, especially on a completely different beast this time around – my Ducati V4S Panigale. This bike was a reminder of why Phillip Island is such a legendary circuit.

Conditions & Setup:
The track was incredibly grippy, and the V4S performed faultlessly on Street/Track Supercorsa V4 tires. I started with rear tire pressure at 30 psi and front at 33.5 psi on Day 1, which was slightly cooler. Day 2 saw a temp jump, so I dropped pressures to rear 28 psi and adjusted the front accordingly.

Experience in the Green Group:
Entered the Green Group (medium fast) and stayed there throughout the event. My first true session was a warm-up, just reacquainting myself with the track and bike. Kicked off with lap times around 1:58 in the morning, which felt like a good base.

Getting into the Flow:
By the fourth session, just after lunch, I started hitting consistent 1:52’s and held that pace for the rest of the event. It felt great to be back on the bike and to be riding at a good, steady pace without pushing to the extreme. My best lap over the two days clocked in at 1:52.40, with a top speed of 293 km/h and a max lean angle of 51 degrees.

The goal was just to have fun, get comfortable, and stay upright. Riding the V4S out there, even as a street bike, reminded me why I love this circuit so much.

Looking forward to more days like this!
