A very large box arrived by DHL today and I am very excited to open it :ROFLMAO::
IMG_9386.JPG

Open a bit and a bit more 🤩:
IMG_9387.JPGIMG_9388.JPG

Yes, it's the right item all right:
IMG_9389.JPG

Take it out from the box:
IMG_9390.JPG

Open it and turn out it was upside down:
IMG_9391.JPG

So I flip it over carefully:
IMG_9392.JPG

And finally , open it, and wow, the GOLD is a very different shade, much much much nicer shade of GOLD 😍😘🥰,
Immediately I tell myself, It's True, Money Doesn't Lie 😇:

Just to make sure this is the right model, yap WSBK confirmed 😉:

Decide to measure the diameters at 3 different points:
IMG_9406.JPGIMG_9407.JPG
IMG_9408.JPG

Then decide to "simulate" if it is installed just to make sure it will look ok 😎:
IMG_9410.JPGIMG_9411.JPG

Yes, I think it will look ok and now comparing the shade of gold with the stock Ohlins EC forks... yeah... no comparison 🥳:

I am a happy man tonight and dedicate this moment to celebrating that I also just received my US Citizenship a few days ago 😌
I arrived back in the US with my family, tired, and almost run out of money exactly 10 years and 1 month ago to the date.
All my family and I had at that moment was that we believed in American Dream.
Today, I can testify that American Dream is Alive and Well.
Only in America, and if you work very hard and never give up that things like this can happen.
I recite my Oath of Allegiance to the United States with All My Heart and I am glad to say and proud to be the Citizen of The USA !!!

Thank you so much to @bp_SFV4 , @craig bush , @Araitim , @HKMP7 , @Andy7 for the kind words.
These past few years have been great to be in the company of fellow Ducati enthusiasts and friends sharing our passion for Ducati in this forum.

Back to the business DUCATImodifed 😃,
I have been re-researching the several options I have for the custom front axle.
At this moment, I am testing the Ducati 999 front axle (yes, 999) because it has a 30mm diameter on the right side, which fits the RVP25 forks (and also FGR400/FGR300).
(note, our stock Ohlins EC forks have a diameter of 35mm).

However, the 999 front axle is 12mm shorter than the V4 front axle (272.5mm vs. 260.5mm), so I need to either:
a. Custom machined a new front axle and axle nut
b. Use 999 front axle and custom machine an axle nut that compensates for the 12mm short

At this moment, I already buy a Chromoly axle from AELLA Japan for 999, which I test fitted below, but I am still undecided regarding my final choices:

During BlackFriday, I did some bargain hunting and one of them arrived today 😃:

The 2022 Carbon Fiber Winglet that I plan to add to my 2020 Fairing, but with some reinforcement on my 2020 Fairing backside to make sure it will not crack if someday I ride it at high speed maybe at the track

The Ducati by Rizoma front axle sliders came in 2 sizes. The longer version is for our Panigale V4/Streetfighter V4, and the shorter one is for the 2020 Ducati Monster.

So I am comparing and test-fitting it.
The top is the Chromoly axle for 848 EVO by AELLA that will fit the right side Ohlins EC Forks axle diameter of 35mm but short enough to fit my Ducati 998 fork spacing which I combined with the 2020 Ducati Monster Ducati by Rizoma Front Axle Sliders.

The center is the longer Ducati by Rizoma Front Axle Sliders that I will use in combination with the bottom Ducati 999 AELLA Chromoly Front Axle that has the right side 30mm diameter, which fits the Ohlins RVP25 30mm axle diameter for this bike.
I will add a Special Custom LONGER Titanium Axle Nut that is currently being ordered from a special Titanium Machine Shop.

However, from the outside, people will only see Ducati by Rizoma Front Axle Slider on both of my bikes without any hint of special axle customization to make the forks fit.

Today, USPS delivered me a box that I wasn't expecting (I always track all incoming or outgoing shipments to my house).
I wonder what's inside.

I look at the sender's name, and I recognize its from my friend @Araitim 🤩
Suddenly I just can't wait to see what's inside because I know it will be something with special meaning and here it is:
IMG_9650.JPG

It's a Technical Drawing of the original Ducati 916. The bike that starts my love for Ducati.
Not just that, it turns out this drawing has a touching story behind it, which @Araitim explain in the accompanying letter and it touch my heart.

@Araitim , I really appreciate this gift and your friendship. I will put this technical picture in a frame and later hang it on the wall next to my bike. 🥳

I placed an order for 4 Motocorse items in a single order during Xmas holiday, and 2 items arrived (smaller items but not the big items yet 🥴)
But even small items from Motocorse always create that "special occasion" kind of feeling 🥳 .
Its the Motocorse Billet Gear Lever and Side Stand Titanium Bolt:

My Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V4 SP tires (tyres) just arrived from the UK today 😁 .
This is for my Project 998. However, I am sure most users of this tire will be the Panigale V4 crowd, so I posted it here ;):

SP Baby 😎:

Even my dog love it:

Comparing the new 190/55 Supercorsa V4 for 998 with the 200/50 Supercorsa V3 on this bike, they look about the same width, just different "roundness":

And the tielock to install them:

Oh, by the way, I bought these tires from
Chris Lyndon-Parker
email: chris@twotyres.co.uk
website: www.twotyres.co.uk
Phone: 0207 205 2205

Great Personal Service, Super Fast Shipping, Great Pricing, and most importantly, have Diablo Supercorsa V4 SP in stock when no store in the US has it 🤩😉😎

I am pretty sure the RED Anodized is mine ;):

Instagram video above was posted by our Forum Vendor @dennispowersport: Dennis Chiu on Instagram: "MOTOCORSE Pressurized Ohlins front forks 108mm. caliper radial mounts Motocorse “GP style” #MOTOCORSE #OHLINS #DUCATI #PANIGALE1199 #panigale1299 #panigalev4 #panigalev2 #streetfighterv4"
I ordered from Dennis many weeks ago, 108mm spacing and I will use this for the Ohlins EC forks which will be transferred to the 998.
Now, hoping it will arrive soon. 😃

Thanks @PanigalePilot 😃 and it arrived yesterday:

IMG_0145.JPG

First, the small bolts needed to block the pressurized gas path if you are using the non pressurized Ohlins EC Forks like the one came with my 2020 bike:
IMG_0146.JPG

Here are the instructions on how to install this blocking bolts... however, I am not sure what tool to easily take out those circlips so I am asking Motocorse Italy now:
IMG_0169.JPG

Here how it looks on the forks:

Test fit with ProTi Titanium Bolt for the pinch bolts:

It even came with it's own caliper spacer, thickness 16mm:

That’s a nice deep red, does it blend in with the colour of the bike quite well Howard? Brilliant compliment to the gold ohlins 😎
