Since MotoGP is on break for a month I still needed my fix and fortunately stumbled on Sylvain's channel - Among all the technical info he also goes into pricing @6:45min but here's the package each rider receives each year excluding additional wet setups or crash damage (+$$$). They are assigned 3x Master Cylinders, 6x Calipers, 10x Rotors & 28 Pads costing €70 000 + vat = €84 000 or roughly $100 000USD (V4SL anyone?)
So while this thread is dedicated to Brembo's caliper range the rotors certainly can't be ignored, specifically carbon as the technology for more than just racing application is obviously going to become more available before too long. Following the SBU V4R build and seeing them trying out the Sicom rotors albeit on track got me searching for viable street options and lead to the Braketech Axis/CMC - discontinued, under development, awaiting production...?? Anyway kind of short & vague post, just thinking out loud really but its got me nerding out a bit and maybe I'll try find a way to incorporate something in future with my ongoing bike project.

I just found out that the new Brembo GP4-RR in 100mm caliper bolt spacing is ready for order at WRS.IT
Last year, they are only available in 108mm caliper bolt spacing.
I don't think they have this new 100mm version in stock yet, because only WRS listed it and no other store listed it. Here is the Part# XB9L2A0
But I did find the part# in Motoquality catalog (the Brembo main distributor in Italy), so this caliper really exist.

and here is the link: XB9L2A0 PAIR BRAKE RADIAL CALIPERS BREMBO RACING GP4-RR 100MM P4 32/36 2021

This means, it allow to use the stock Ducati Ohlins shocks with 100m bolt spacing, however, the offset is 22.5mm so you will need spacer on the brake rotor.
Another interesting spec is the piston is 32/36mm in size and the same between the 108mm and the 100mm version.

WRS also have a USED 2020 WSBK caliper, (unfortunately NOT the one with the cooling fins) for sale on their website: XC09110+XC09111 BREMBO RACING USED RADIAL BRAKE CALIPERS KIT WSBK 2020 CHAMPIONSHIP
and the price is 6,699 EURO (please note this is price for USED pair of calipers).
This WSBK caliper has piston size of 34/34mm so both the GP4-RR above and this WSBK caliper will need a larger MC than the stock MC, or if you use RCS Corsa Corta, it will be the RCS19 Corsa Corta.

Here are the pictures of the 2020 WSBK calipers:

Big news from Motocorse !!!
This really open the choices of brake calipers if you prefer to keep your Electronically Controlled Ohlins Forks but want to upgrade to a 108mm bolt spacing calipers... like that GP4-RR or GP4-PR or heck GP4-WSBK for example ;)

I have the last generation GP4-rr on the bike (sorry not a ducati but a suzuki) as well as the current in the box.

The previous generation calipers use the pin retained pads of previous billet monoblocks (ie 40mm axial).
The current gen use the same pad as the larger endurance calipers. These are not retained by a pin but 4 tabs screwed into the bottom of the caliper.
The previous gen pistons while titanium are not drilled/vented. Current ones are.
The previous gen pistons are not as tall as the current drilled pistons... I seem to recall someone posting about issues with piston popping out with excessive pad wear. I cannot find the post now though so take it as heresay.
I like vesrah pads and the older generation is available in XX which is what I'm used to. The newer generation is only available in a newer SS compound. A more aggresive one most likely closer to the Brembo zo4 pads.

I'm currently running the previous gen until the next time I need to swap pads. Did not get to the track this year so can't give a good evaluation.
Last generation calipers were 628g, newer ones are 592g. By comparison, I measured the m4 at almost exactly 800g. All sans pads.

Hi JCW,
Thanks so much @Jcw on the detailed info and comparison of the current and previous generation GP4-RR.
I purchased the Z04 pads for my new generation GP4-RR and hopefully they work well with the stock size T-Drive Brembo rotor.

By the way, what is the color of your new generation GP4-RR? is it GOLD like in most of the pictures or Dark Grey?
Because I just received mine a few weeks ago, and they were Dark Grey in color.
Below is the picture of mine:

Mine are slightly lighter than yours...
I'll post a pic

Maybe the lighting... hard to say.

No. Looks like they have different anodizing, huh?
Hi @Jcw ,
Thanks so much for posting the picture of your GP4-RR.
It looks like yours also have a different shade of grey than mine, yours is a bit lighter.
However, it is also far from the gold anodized color we saw on Brembo website.
Anyway, once you installed it on your bike, please kindly help by giving us your review about it's performance.
Thanks from Howard

Those calipers are a rabbit hole that I refuse to go down lol.
They are jewelry tho.
bro...you're halfway there...why not go all the way? 😂

btw, does anyone know the rebuild kit for the stylema? sorry to hijack the thread a bit, but, I just noticed I have a piston that only has one rubber gasket....geez...

wondering if I buy these from eBay, would it work? I guess 34mm is 34mm right?

Hello Tsaico,
Yes, the Stylema is a 30mm piston all around. So you will need a 30mm kit.
Thank you Howard! I ordered the 30mm kit just now With AF1 Racing, my local dealer is mind boggling ordering stuff like this….

disappointed…

anyhow, sorry to hijack your thread….remaining the regular program every one! …..brake porn please !!

Instagram member gaody3 have the most highest end setup I saw so far on a Panigale V4 because,
this is an FGR300 Ohlins combined with the Brembo GP4 MotoGP
Yes, not the GP4 WSBK, but the MotoGP version with the dual row fins top and bottom...

To put it into perpective, the GP4 WSBK version cost EURO 11,500 , at least that was the price I was offered...
so since this is the MotoGP version... well, if I could guess, well, I don't really want to guess 😅

Of course it was used in combination with the Titanium version of the Staubli drybreak like the version HKMP7 used...

Motocorse just released their NEW Ohlins EC Fork Caliper Bracket....
wait... that is OLD NEWS, right? I mean, our own @HKMP7 already have that on his bike...
well, this is their 108mm bolt spacing version though, so that means you are no longer limited to GP4-MS caliper with stock 100mm spacing ;).
They are available in RED, SILVER, TITANIUM & BLACK.

It's not cheap at 955 euro per pair, but of course it is a Motocorse:

The most interesting claim below is that it is a real plug and play which I assume for the Brembo 108mm spacing caliper with the usual 22.5mm offset like the GP4-RR so you will not need spacer for your stock rotor. FYI, if I install a GP4-RR with an Ohlins FGR that will came standard with 108mm spacing I will need to use spacer for the rotor (disk brake).

Also, please note this will fit the Panigale V2 or of course, the upcoming STREETFIGHTER V2 ;););)

Motocorse just posted this picture in their Instagram.
I wonder whether this Motocorse Ohlins Forks Bottom/Brake Caliper Bracket will accommodate a 108mm Brembo caliper and also compensate for the different offset inherent with Brembo 108mm caliper so we don't have to add spacer to the brake rotors...
Because at this moment, if we use an Ohlins forks with Brembo Caliper with 108mm spacing it will require a spacer to get the rotor out a bit.
