Panigale V4S: Low-Mount vs High-Mount Exhaust Advice

I’m in the process of converting my Panigale V4S (2022) for track use only and currently exploring exhaust options. I’m torn between a low-mount Akrapovic and a Spark high-mount underset. The plan is to replace just the end pipes and silencers, but if the price is right, I might go for the full system.

At the moment, I’m leaning toward the low-mount setup, but I really like the look of the high-mount. I’d appreciate hearing from anyone who has tried both — what are the advantages and disadvantages of each, thanks.

I have the Akrapovic low-mount exhaust, which came standard on my Ducati model (but not the racing slip-on), and now I have the SC-Project full system WSBK high-mount on my bike. From my observation, a low-mount slip-on or low-mount full system has a technical advantage because it is a shorter path, lighter, and less complex. (lower central of gravity too).
However, I love the look of high-mount underseat looks, so I go for the looks. If you are using this for track use only, the Original Akrapovic Full System Low-Mount should provide the best bang for the buck, and most likely, you can find it at a good price now since yours is a 2022 model.
