Eldor Coils filter

I got a set of Eldor coils for my 2014 Hyper and they came with the little anti static filters wrapped around the plug wire. Is there any disadvantage or advantage to keeping them?

Yes, you have an 821 hyper. Those were plagued with a costly ecu and display frying due to sudden excess voltage caused by noisy coils. There ferrite filters prevent that voltage spike. The world chose to go to a more quiet coils taken from an Aprilia but Ducatis fix was to add one of those filters behind the dash. For me,I got the one behind the dash but I also use the Aprilia coils for added security. None of this will horsepower gains or losses, it is just for stray voltage spikes.
