2023 SP2 modifications

HI All,

I have started a small project with a 2023 V4SP2 and sourced a used Akrapovic under Engine system and have had a plug and play set of longer underseat end cans from SPF in the Uk made.

one question that i didn't check on is the difference between the Euro 4 and 5 bikes and the exhaust systems for them.
my hardware only has 2 Lambda ports and i see that the later versions use all 4 lambdas..

i have managed to source a 2023/4 euro 5 map for the undertseat system for my bike and will get this loaded up in the next week during service.

i guess ill see if i use Lambda plugs for 2 or have to modify the manifolds for the individual cylinder lambda fitment.

any experience on this issue would be greatly received

Hello @nathanhu ,
Welcome to our forum.

From my previous experience tuning my car, the ECU will detect if some sensors are not connected. If your new map is still EURO5 compatible, most likely it will show an error or detect this.
So most likely, either you have to add mounting bungs/ports on the exhaust manifolds, or have a tuner modify the map to ignore the missing sensor.
