Its more the material the pistons are made of, Ti or stainless are much better than aluminum. Brembo includes silicone grease with the seals, just put a very small amount on pistons. I put ventilated Ti pistons in my gp4-ms calipers and do not run the dust seals.
Yeah, nothing to it other than using compressed air to get the old pistons out. Main advantage is it keeps the heat out of the caliper and fluid much better than the stock alum.
Currently vesrah XX but going to try z04 whenever they come in. They recommend the ferodo for rotor life but they still last a long time with any pads.
