thanks man :)
i did see the melotti racing uppers in your thread . could u share the lowers pics from motocorse which you've bought particularly ? i'd love to see those
since you've been in the market for this , could u link me up with guys / website that sells race-grade lowers and uppers who also can laser the production number ?
Thanks , that'd help me a lot
So for the most part, the performance remains same. Shouldn't different braking setups change the way the clamps flex?
Also I don't wanna lose the production numbering on my stock triple clamps. How do i go about that?
Ngl aftermarket lowers do look more robust even to naked eye.
dooes after market clamps necessarily meen better performance ? If I'm goin all out on wheels brakes and engine performance , should i also change the triple clamps steup
(upper and lower )
@TNC have u tried the mixed combination of sbs ds1 and ds2 on steel rotors with gp4rr , i wanted to know how were they ?
Might opt for that if not sicom
yeah does seem right , had heard that the newer gp4-rr had greater brake pad area compatibility when compared to old gen. was worried about it too.
i really wanted the 'bling' factor of gp4-rr . like isnt it better ?
Well i did ask Mr.giles @bikehps he clearly said that he could provide with sicom pads for both "gp4-rx and gp4-rr ", whichever i chose ,
I'm gonna go with him on this one , a salesman/representative must've got his facts right :)
Wait , what then is the newer model ? isnt the newer model the gold one ? If not , any pics of the new one will be appreciated Also how is bike hps , i'm planning on buying wome wheels + brake stuff from them
is it this ?
Fascinating this thread , haah just when i thought of getting GP4-rr + Sicom brake rotors + pads , y'all came in clutch helping me out , albeit indirectly .
Waiting for an answer from @TNC . Also as i was talking with a seller of Sicom rotors , he did say me that they provide pads for gp4-rr :/
