Long time rider, reasonably competant on the road but not much track experience and so would regard myself as intermediate skill level. New to Ducati and first sportbike. The 2020 V4S is the bike I always wanted somebody to build. Have been riding my 1995 Honda VFR750 for 25 years waiting for Honda to build a worthy V4 successor - they just don't get it - and suddenly out of the blue Ducati have come up with this precious gem. Pity I had to wait until 2020 but so glad I finally have the opportunity to own and ride sucb a work of engineering art. I kept the VFR - fantastic sports tourer - it's like a family member.

Married, two daughters, living on semi-rural outskirts of north-western Sydney which, it turns out, is a good home for a V4 since I don't normally suffer the engine heat that comes with urban traffic.

I play soccer, guitar (a bit), used to surf and scuba dive before moving west, and have been retired for the last two years after over 3 decades with Telstra operating and developing their operational business systems. A bit earlier than I had planned but had a health hiccup so re-assessed priorities.

First priority.....buy a new bike!
